What does your standard training week involve?
Monday, Wednesday and Friday are solid sessions, includes skills, weights, running and cross training (boxing, swimming and Bike). Tuesday and Thursday include skills, running and team meetings.
Where is your favourite place to train?
Punt Road, home of Richmond Football Club.
What is your favourite 2XU garment? When do you use it and why?
Compression tights, they are great for recovery after training at home and wearing to bed. My favourite products are the Elite MCS Compression Tights (MA3062a), Compression Socks for Recovery (MA2440e) and GHST Singlet (MR3135a).
What is your favourite training accessory?
Heart rate monitor at training and in recovery.
What has been the toughest experience in your career and what did you learn from it?
Never give up and work hard!
What motivates you to train and race harder?
Continually getting better, earning respect from my team mates and better preparation for match day.
Describe your diet/meal plan leading up to a match:
The night before a match I eat a big bowl of pasta carbonara or Lasagna and have a light breakfast of cereal and toast.
How do you balance your training and racing life with life outside the sport?
When I train I make the most of that time and switch off once training is complete. I enjoy fishing and camping with family and friends.
What type of nutritional supplement do you find most helpful (either for training or competition)?
Protein bars and shakes that are filled with banana and berries.
In five years time, I'll be:
A regular senior player with Richmond FC, a contributing team member with a team playing finals.
