Proper warm up is important to prepare for training and competition. 2XU's graduated compression garments promote increased blood flow for faster warm up and greater oxygen to muscle tissue. This allows muscles to become more extensible for greater movement efficiency.
Power Measured in newtons
The more force needed to stretch the fabric means the more compression power the fabric exerts for muscle stabilisation and protection. This test stretches 50 mm x 100 mm fabric samples along the weft direction of the weave. It is stretched to 170 mm in length and the required force is measured by the Instron machine.

Protect muscles to help reduce damage, fatigue and long term overuse injuries for stronger performance. 2XU Compression helps to align and keep muscles in place to reduce muscle oscillation that can lead to muscle strain and soreness.
COMPARISON OF PERFORMANCE BETWEEN FIRST AND SECOND EXERCISE BOUTS
Cyclists were able to maintain performance in 2XU Compression by -0.1% vs. -1.79% without. Results are displayed as an average. Research carried out independently by the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) Recovery Team.

Restore your body back to peak levels in the fastest possible time for your next training session, game or daily activity. 2XU graduated compression increases venous return to the heart and increases blood circulation. This helps with the removal of blood lactate from muscles to reduce swelling and speed muscle repair for faster recovery.
PERCEIVED LEVEL OF SORENESS
Perceived leg–muscle soreness following a 30-minute exercise bout. This shows the rating of perceived soreness over a 1-hour recovery period either with or without wearing 2XU compression tights. Significantly less perceived muscles soreness was noted during the recovery period when wearing 2XU Compression. Research carried out independently by the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) Recovery Team.
