AUSTRALIAN PARALYMPIC COMMITTEE
The Australian Paralympic Committee is responsible for preparing the Australian Paralympic Teams for the Paralympic Summer and Winter Games.
At the London 2012 Paralympic Games, Australia brought home 32 gold medals, 23 silver medals and 30 bronze medals – placing us fifth amongst 164 countries.
Our success at the Paralympics to date has been the product of many factors, including our partnerships with government, national sporting organisations, disability groups and sponsors like 2XU.
For Rio 2016, 2XU will again be part of our medal winning team with 2XU supplying Australia’s Paralympians with all casual, technical and compression garments that will allow Australia’s athletes to reach their potential.
FROM THE EXPERTS
The APC’s commitment to best preparing the Australian Paralympic Team has never been greater. We work closely with each sport to ensure Australia's Paralympic athletes have every opportunity to excel at the top level. 2XU will play a significant part in this.
Jason Hellwig, CEO, Australian Paralympic Committee:
“At Rio 2016, Australia’s Paralympians are set to train, race and recover in the form they should – with comfort, confidence and class – thanks to 2XU.”
