Not only did 2XU apparel dominate the field of 1400 teams (4200 competitors) who took to Melbourne’s Elwood Beach for yesterday’s Nissan/BRW Corporate Triathlon Corporate Triathlon yesterday, but took out the #1 place in the Corporate Male section. 

In a cracking form, Team 2XU’s Chris Bradford (2XU Compression – aka “the aggressor”), Jamie Hunt (2XU Co-founder and Product Development Manager – aka “the guru”) and Keith Falconer (2XU Hawthorn Regional Retail Manager – aka “the Falcon”) crossed the finish line in 2:02:56. 

A superb effort was put in by all three boys who stepped up to prove they were every bit as ‘high performance’ as the brand they were wearing and proudly espouse every day!  All three donned 2XU’s X:1 (newly released this summer under 2XU’s Project:X line) wetsuit for the swim and stripped down to a classic 2XU Super Elite Trisuit for the 10km sprint cycle and 4km run. 

Great work boys – can’t wait to see you take out there again soon!

Furthermore – for all those who made their triathlon debut yesterday  – welcome!  We hope you’re now as hooked as we are and look forward to assist you with all your future high performance endeavours.

Congratulations to 2XU Ambassadors Ryan Scissons and Vendula Frintova who took second place in the Men’s and Women’s Contact Tri Series (respectively), in Takapuna yesterday.

Scissons was ‘pipped at the line’ by one second after a tough tussle to the finish with Kris Gemmell.

Well done to both Ryan and Vendula on some great results!

Congratulations to Jarrod Kanizay, Eric Louw and Martin Edwards who completed an epic 220km run over two days on February 4 and 5, to raise money for the communities affected by the 2009 Black Saturday fires.
