Jose ‘The Future’ Ramirez has a perfect professional boxing record early in his pro career after coming off of the most decorated amateur career in boxing history. Jose broke 30-year old records held by some of boxing’s biggest stars, including Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Oscar De La Hoya. A 2012 Olympian, Jose won 11 National Championships as an amateur along with six consecutive U.S. National Titles and Gold Medals finishing 145 wins.

Ramirez hails from the small agricultural town of Avenal, California, where he started boxing at the early age of eight. Despite his obvious talent, Jose delayed turning professional to pursue to major goals. One was to represent the US at the 2012 Olympic Games. The other was to become the first in his family to attend a major university. Jose was able to reach both before embarking on what is destined to be a championship career.

"I have never seen anything like this in boxing," says Rick Mirigian, Ramirez's manager. "He's a very unique kid. If he gets [knocked down], he gets right back up. This kid is going to be the change in USA boxing. You'll see quotes from world champions, top boxing scouts, trainers and agents heralding him. Boxing's elite are saying he has it all."

The widely celebrated phenomenon and lightweight boxing prodigy will once again train, compete and recover in the brand’s Compression gear. "2XU Compression flat out works. I never train without it, and it keeps me in top shape and championship form," states Ramirez.

With a focus on optimizing athletic performance in the elite category where physical demands and stakes are high, 2XU Compression is driven by a goal of equipping athletes, like Ramirez, to be more prepared, competition-ready and capable than their opposition.

"We are excited about a renewed relationship with the 2XU family and look forward to our multi-year commitment with the best Compression gear on the market," said Rick Mirigian, agent and co-manager for Ramirez.

"Jose has done things that have never been seen before in boxing history. He's shattered records that have stood for decades," touted Mirigian, "The world has fallen in love with Jose outside the of ring as well. He is an amazing person with an inspirational life story that is second to none."
