Position Overview:

2XU is looking for a high motivated, strategic and driven Ecommerce Coordinator to help drive our explosive growth in the US market. The Ecommerce Coordinator will organize and assist with the management of 2XU North America’s Ecommerce platforms. They will manage the day-to-day activities and strategies of 2XU within these platforms, drive online store traffic through digital and social channels, assist with email design, manage social media tracking and ROI reporting and manage on-site merchandising. In addition, this person will be responsible for managing existing 3rd party relationships and ensuring that the 2XU brand is fully and properly represented at all times. The Ecommerce Coordinator will be part of the Global 2XU Ecommerce Team, reporting directly to the US Ecommerce Marketing Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist Ecommerce Marketing Manager with creative briefs
  • Manage the 2XU.com rollout of each season and product including setting up each item correctly in the 2XU database and systems
  • Manage 2XU.com merchandising
  • Managing the online Retail Store Locator and ensuring all information is correct and up to date
  • Assist with addition 2XU.com site maintenance
  • Serve as liaison between Ecommerce and customer service
  • Manage reporting for ongoing and promotional campaigns
  • Tracking and reporting sell through
  • Assist with 2XU.com sales planning
  • Manage and build Review Email program
  • Manage all promotional codes and reports
  • Manage ordering and inventory of all Ecommerce promotional materials
  • Manage 2XU INFO email channel and address all inquiries accordingly

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-3 years experience manage Ecommerce marketing programs and budgets
  • SEM and SEO knowledge
  • Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools & Adwords
  • Microsoft Excel skills
  • Pivot Tables And VLOOKUP A Plus
  • Basic HTML capabilities a must
  • Retail Math Knowledge
  • Bronto and/or Demandware experience a plus
  • Deep insight in social and retail trends critical
  • Knowledge of new and emerging trends in digital media
  • Sport enthusiast and experience working with athletes a plus
  • Must be extremely detail oriented
  • Must be able to clearly communicate plans as well as results as a part of overall marketing goals
  • Must be capable of managing and completing multiple projects and priories in a rapidly changing environment

Position Overview:

2XU is looking for a Visual Merchandising/In-Store Marketing Manager to join their quickly growing Marketing Team. This person will be responsible for communicating the brand vision through In Store displays, POP/POS development and implementation as well as key concept store design. This is a specialist role that requires expertise in the areas of visual merchandising as well as display design and development. The ideal candidate must be creative, dynamic and self motivated.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with Global team to design and develop branded fixtures, store in store and custom displays
  • Work with Marketing and Brand team to develop seasonal in-store marketing materials and collateral
  • Work with Marketing and Sales teams develop seasonal in-store calendar
  • Plan and execute visual merchandising plan for store in store and custom build outs.
  • Create and implement merchandising planograms to support brand and drive sales
  • Develop annual fixture forecasts including estimated budget, store quantities and additional requirements.
  • Develop and maintain fixture order system for retail partners
  • Generate all orders for Point of Purchase displays and production to ensure on time delivery.
  • Manage fixture inventory and ordering
  • Develop 2XU in store merchandising best practices and procedures
  • Manage in store implementation process including development, shipping, and installation.
  • Work with Field Marketing Team to ensure all stores are premium and set up to brand standards
  • Manage all 2XU concept store development and installation

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications and/or Marketing
  • At least 5 years of brand, product or retail marketing experience
  • Familiarity with the sports industry (apparel experience a plus)
  • Strong computer skills, with expertise in Microsoft Office Suite. Photoshop, In Design skills a plus
  • Must be detail oriented, independent and highly organized
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • Able to succeed in a fast paced and detail oriented environment
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.

The Responsibilities:

The Marketing Director is responsible for leading our big push into the US market by developing, managing and maintaining a high level of return on 2XU’s investment. Specifically, lead the marketing for our large retail and Mass Sports Verticals (Team, Olympic, Golf etc.), including athlete, digital, event, POS, and sponsorships and partnerships. Big ideas, holistic thinking, and a passion for the industry are imperative.

This position will be part of the global 2XU Sports Marketing Team, reporting to the Global CMO (based in the US). They will manage the day-to-day activities and strategies of 2XU within the Mass Sports verticals – and drive retail store traffic through digital media – with a large push in the social media arena. This position is a key member of the marketing team and will interface directly with Sports Marketing/Sponsorship Coordinators, Communications, Online Marketing Group, Sales, Brand Marketing, Product, Legal and Accounting. In addition to making decisions and recommendations on new marketing opportunities, this role would be responsible for managing existing relationships/investments and ensuring that the 2XU brand is properly represented and that our contracts are being fulfilled to their utmost.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead all facets of 2XU’s North American marketing, specifically large box and Mass Sports verticals
  • Manage the team that leads the existing Sports Marketing efforts and ensure 2XU is maximizing deliverables with events, venues, athletes, industry partnerships, etc – help connect the dots
  • Ma/nage day-to-day activities of Mass and Sports Marketing Vertical Management Team
  • Review and make recommendations on incoming Business Development opportunities
  • Manage sponsorship budgets and marketing plans.
  • Collaborate and communicate with other internal departments to maximize marketing properties and to ensure sports authenticity across all communication touch points
  • Work with events trade show team to ensure Sports Marketing presence at all relevant events within Mass Sports verticals
  • Manage sponsorship calendar to ensure successful integration into various outlets with athletes, events, projects and partnerships
  • Report the ROI on sponsorship deals, both athletes and events, to management monthly (based on content and exposure)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 10 years experience managing marketing programs and budgets, with a minimum of 5 years Social media/community management and team leadership
  • Strategic thinker, creative, organized and able to clearly communicate how plans will deliver on our overall marketing goals
  • Deep insight into Social and Retail marketing critical
  • Knowledge and experience working with athletes, sporting apparel, or events
  • Ability to present and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Interest and knowledge in emerging trends in the media
  • Highly motivated, driven, and capable of working in the details while ensuring the overall program is on strategy and on track
  • Capable of managing and completing multiple projects and priorities within a rapidly changing environment
  • Sport enthusiast and sporting interest is a must
  • Ability to travel - approx. 20% or less

Key Accountabilities

  • Working closely with Marketing, Product and Retail teams to drive sales merchandising, content and marketing initiatives for our North American website
  • Schedule, prepare briefs and coordinate the production of website and Email marketing content
  • Ensure that content is released on time and accurately
  • Drive online and offline marketing initiatives and campaigns
  • Monitor sales and traffic across the website to proactively identify incremental sales and profit opportunities.
  • Manage the merchandising of the site, tracking and responding to online sales progress, product availability and margins to maximize sales growth and profitability
  • Provide regular, detailed weekly and monthly reporting to the eCommerce and wider teams
  • Increase organic traffic, time spent on site, ROI on paid traffic, conversion rates and other KPI’s and incremental revenue and profit growth through ecommerce initiatives including SEM, affiliate, social and EDM strategy
  • Working with the website operations manager to provide assistance with the development, upgrade and maintenance of the company website and troubleshoot functionality issues were required.
  • Work closely witht the Global team manager and operations team to use the web and digital to drive cross channel retail activity (click n collect, store to door)
  • Manage functionality and visual appearance of website. Coordinate home page content changes and web promos
  • Review existing product information across the site for accuracy and completeness, and update as needed
  • Work with the Retail and Marketing/design teams to update website for seasonal product releases and removals.

Competencies and Skills

  • Working within a premium brand environment (eg. no "crazy sales", discounting, deals etc - the focus is on the Brand and the benefits of the product)
  • Strong SEO skills will be viewed very favorably for this role
  • Demandware is our platform of choice
  • Product marketing, brand marketing, SEO, email, affiliate programmes, social media and WOM marketing
  • Experience working across eCommerce platforms
  • Organization, initiative, and excellent communication across all levels of the business
  • An innovative, entrepreneurial and dynamic attitude
  • Hands-on business analytics experience and proven ability to use analytics to drive successful marketing and merchandising programs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Confident personality and ability to challenge authority appropriately
  • Extremely motivated, ambitious and have exceptional communication skills which are essential to the ongoing development of relationships with key stake holders in the business
  • Have great drive as well as being results orientated
  • Be passionate about e-commerce and online marketing.

Desired Employment Experience and Qualifications

  • Be degree qualified with proven online eCommerce marketing experience
  • 3+ years of professional marketing experience with proven track record of success
  • 2+ years of online consumer or product marketing experience, preferably within a consumer goods /retail company; eCommerce experience preferred

Note: The role will require some long haul international travel (1 or 2 trips per year to Australia)
