Record Breaking Weekend for 2XU Sponsored TeamTBB!
2XU sponsored triathlon powerhouse teamTBB, enjoyed another massive win yesterday. This time, Aussie family man, Aaron Farlow, claimed his first ever long course victory at IM UK, in a course record of 8 hours 24 minutes 34 seconds. He also made a new bike course record of 4 hours 53 minutes 46 seconds AND run course record of 2 hours 41 minutes 46 seconds. teamTBB's Diana Riesler just missed out on the win to take 2nd behind Kristin Moeller, but made a new bike course record of 5 hours 25 minutes 57 seconds.
Aaron executed his race to perfection, made even more remarkable by the following...
- He rode from Leysin in Switzerland to the start of the Alpe d'Huez race
- He then did the Alpe d’Huez Long Distance race and came 3rd on the podium
- He hopped on a plane to Bolton and scooped his 1st ever IM title to become the first non British citizen to win
- Now he's on his way home to Australia for his son’s christening.
