Double Win for 2XU Sponsored TeamTBB Stars Steffen + Dellow
2XU sponsored triathlon powerhouse teamTBB continues to prove unstoppable!
This weekend it was Dave Dellow and Caroline 'Xena' Steffen of Alaska teamTBB Philippines who claimed truly dominating wins at the acclaimed Koh Samui Triathlon (4K swim, 120K bike, and 30K run); the biggest prize money race in all of Asia!
In typical Thai fashion, the weather was oppresively hot and humid.
Xena took charge from the start; crushing the rest of the women's field. Fellow Alaska teamTBB Thailand athlete Carrie Lester raced herself to 2nd place.
On the men's front, Dave fought hard to claim his win against a stacked field of top Ironmen including Faris Al Sultan, Cameron Brown, Dirk Bockel, and Marino Van Hoenaker. Dave raced smart in the tough conditions to take the win from this strong field of Kona contenders.
Multiplied congratulations to both DD and Xena on their amazing wins off the back of equally incredible performances at IM Melbourne just last month. 2012 is promises big things to come!
