2XU’s NZ rowers take gold!
2XU Ambassadors Storm Uru and Peter Taylor took gold on the final day of the Lucerne World Cup regatta last weekend in lightweight double sculls. The Kiwis took control of their final early on, countering a fast start by the Canadians and moving through in the first half. In the second half they established a comfortable lead of a boat length over Italy and Denmark gaining a few more meters again in the final sprint and taking home the gold.
The guys are now off to Belgium for the next training block, working hard towards the World Championships in 6 weeks time! Best of luck Storm + Peter!
