2XU's Erin Densham wins ITU Cremona!
2XU's Erin Densham proved she's back to her high performance best on Sunday, claiming her first ITU win of 2011 in Cremona, Italy.
Living up to pre race expectations, Densham took out the ITU Cremona Sprint Distance event in 1:01:31, starting with a strong swim leg that saw her exit the water in third spot. With her superior bike skills, Erin quickly assumed the lead and placed her competitors under real pressure as they fought to hang on in the tight corners and turns.
On the run, Densham cruised away from the pack to record a comfortable victory which should offer her great confidence ahead of the Olympic Qualification races in Hamburg, London and Beijing between now and the end of the season.
